Since graduating from The Northern School of Art’s BA (Hons) Production Design for Stage & Screen course, Caitlin Mills has developed a career in production design across film, television and theatre, working across both independent productions and larger-scale screen projects.
Caitlin has worked across the art department in a range of roles, developing experience in production design, set building, set decoration, prop sourcing and scenic painting. Her screen credits include Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, Bait, Knightfall, Doctor Plague and Zombies of the Third Reich, as well as a range of short films and independent productions.
Her work has involved taking projects from early research and concept development through to practical set construction and dressing on location, creating technical drawings and scale models, sourcing and building props, and working with directors and cinematographers within production budgets and schedules.
Caitlin has also worked in theatre, including with Elysium Theatre Company, and has taken on Production Manager and Stage Manager roles for small-scale theatre productions, building experience in leading teams and coordinating complex logistics alongside her design work.
She now runs her own production design studio, Tripleset Productions, offering script analysis, concept design, prop sourcing, set construction and on-set execution for film, theatre and events.
