Travel to Campus

Our campus is located in the centre of Middlesbrough, next to the main bus station and just a short walk away from the railway station, meaning we are easily accessible from across Teesside.

Everything you need, transport, shops, cafés, is right on our doorstep.

We work hard to keep travel costs low so that distance is never a barrier to studying with us.
Our Further Education Campus in Middlesbrough is easy to reach from across Tees Valley and surrounding areas.

Bus Travel Support (16–18 Students)
Students travelling from the grey area on the map (including Darlington, East Durham and Stokesley) can access travel for just £5 per term (£15 for the full academic year).

This gives you travel on public bus routes of your choice within the eligible area.

🚆 Train Travel Support

If you travel by train:
  • 16–17 year olds may be eligible for discounted rail support (subject to household income)*
  • Students travelling from further afield may also qualify for assistance*
  • A £35 railcard is required, but this may be reimbursed depending on eligibility*
We aim to make longer journeys manageable and cost-effective wherever possible.

🌍 Travelling from Further Away?

Students outside the grey zone may still receive support:
  • £5 per term bus support (subject to eligibility)*
  • Discounted rail assistance (subject to household income)*
