Lecturer – BA (Hons) Acting for Stage and Screen
Steve is a professional performer, writer and practitioner from the North- East of England. Steve has worked in the creative industry for nearly forty years with recent acting credits in Mr Punch (2023) (written by Steve), Whale Of A Time with Peach plant Productions (2022) both at Alphabetti Theatre, Macbeth and Midsummer Night’s Dream for Elysium Theatre (2023), Sleeping Beauty at Gala Durham (2022) The Twenty Seven Club at LIVE theatre and When The Boat Comes In parts 1 and 2 at the Customs House (2018 -19) His writing credits include Mr Punch, Reiver, Tree, Sucking Eggs, Walter, Floorboards, Wrong Place Wrong Time and Bacon Knees and Sausage Finger. Steve has had a dozen plays produced since 2016.
Steve as a practitioner of drama has worked with Gibber, CragRats, Headway Arts, Liberdade, Little Big Butterfly, Theatre Royal Newcastle, Bigfoot Arts, LIVE theatre, SA Performing Arts, Boho Arts. Steve has worked full-time at Northern School of Art since 2023.
