CCAD Textiles Degrees To Launch Creative Talent At Indigo Brussels Home Edition
Indigo Brussells has for the first time in 2015 opened the doors for emerging talent and CCAD were honoured to be only one of six organisations across the world who were invited to be involved .
Headhunted by Trendease’s Jennifer Castoldi, who was looking for the best and the strongest institutions, CCAD’s textiles degrees were honoured to be approached for the creative talent initiative which has allows students and recently graduated textile designers from the selected universities/colleges to show their work at Indigo Brussels Home Edition. CCAD also hold the accolade of being the only institution invited to showcase more than one degree, because of the quality of the students work within the entire textiles department.
The benefits to visitors are that they can discover emerging talent and the student and graduate designers can test their work against the reality of the industry.
Jennifer Castoldi: “While traveling around the world scouting talent, innovation, and market directions for our multimedia platforms, Trendease also attends many graduate shows this time of year. It is with pleasure, as a partner to MoOD and Indigo Home Brussels, that my team and I were able to uncover some great talent coming from students just entering the field, and through their universities visitors to the exhibitions will also be able to see these shining stars on the Indigo Launch Pad.This is a wonderful opportunity for both design studios and visitors to Indigo to find freelance workers and new resources for their home textile businesses.”
