FESTIVAL OF ILLUSTRATION SHORTLISTED FOR JOURNAL CULTURE AWARDS 2016
The shortlist for the 2016 Culture Awards run by Newcastle based newspaper, The Journal, have been announced ahead of the ceremony on April 26th at Sunderland Minster.
Cleveland College of Art & Design’s 2015 Hartlepool Festival of Illustration has been shortlisted in the Best Event Teesside category alongside two other great events held on Teesside, namely, Mima: Localism and Stockton Calling Music Festival.
Representatives from Hartlepool Festival of Illustration will be attending the award ceremony, where they will be treated to performances from The Lake Poets and The Ladies of Midnight Blue.
Sixteen award categories will be awarded on the night. Which are:

Newcomer of the Year
Performance of the Year
