Since graduating from The Northern School of Art’s BA (Hons) Modelmaking and VFX course, Lewis King has developed a creative practice combining modelmaking, sculpting, prop making and visual effects.
Lewis works across practical and digital processes, creating detailed models, characters, props and visual effects for creative projects, bringing together traditional making skills with digital techniques.
In 2023, Lewis joined EPH Creative as a Concept Developer, designing new props, sets and concept proposals, and has since progressed to Junior Build Coordinator, working alongside the studio’s Build Managers on the design, project management and production of props and installations for events across the UK and beyond.
“I’m a multi-disciplinary creative who specialises in keeping productions moving,” Lewis has said of his approach, describing his ability to step in across sculpting, mould making, paint and design whenever a build stalls.
