Since graduating with a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Film, TV and Theatre Production in 2024, Niamh Henry has begun building experience across theatre and live performance, working as a Casual Theatre Technician and Casual Dresser at venues across the North East.

Through her stage crew work, Niamh has supported load-ins and get-outs for national touring music and theatre productions, working alongside experienced professionals and developing practical knowledge of the technical and logistical demands of live performance. Working across different venues and productions has allowed her to gain hands-on experience of the fast-paced nature of the live events industry.

Niamh has also developed experience in wardrobe and dressing, working as an ensemble dresser during the Sunderland leg of Mary Poppins and as the male principal dresser for Riverdance: The New Generation during its visit to Stockton Globe. These roles have allowed her to work directly with performers and contribute to the smooth running of live productions from backstage.

Her experience across both technical theatre and wardrobe demonstrates the variety of roles available within live production. By building skills across stage crew and dressing, Niamh is developing a versatile career within the theatre industry and gaining experience across different aspects of professional performance.
