Since graduating with a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Film, TV and Theatre Production in 2024, Niamh Henry has begun building experience across theatre and live performance, working across venues in the North East including Stockton Arc, Northern Stage and Gosforth Civic Theatre.
Niamh joined Stockton Globe as a Casual Technician shortly after graduating, supporting load-ins and get-outs for national touring music and theatre productions. She has since worked as a Stage Crew Member for Generator at Gateshead Introducing, a live showcase of new North East talent on Gateshead Quayside, assisting with set changeovers, load-in and load-out, and troubleshooting lighting and sound issues alongside the technical team.
Niamh has also developed experience in wardrobe and dressing, working as part of the in-house dressing team for the opening week of Mary Poppins: The Musical at Sunderland Empire, assisting with quick changes and maintaining the wardrobe village, and as the male principal dresser for Riverdance: The New Generation during its visit to Stockton Globe. She has continued to build on this through freelance costume maintenance work and a role as a Casual Stagehand at Darlington Hippodrome.
