Talks on interior design and photography lined up for #CreativeCareers event
Talks by a leading interior design company and an acclaimed commercial and editorial photographer are the next scheduled events in The Northern School of Art‘s #CreativeCareers free online professional studies session on Wednesday 10 March.
Cocoon & Bauer, an interiors company that creates spectacular interiors for various sectors across the UK, see image below, and photographer Ben Benoliel (credit photo above), whose clients include Bang & Olufsen, Muji, John Lobb, LN-CC, size?, Loewe, i-D, Matches, APC and Wallpaper.com amongst others, are featuring in live events from 2pm on 10 March.
- From 2pm – 3pm hear from Cocoon and Bauer, interior design specialists based at the heart of the Tees Valley who create spectacular interiors for the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors across the UK, as they talk about the company and its place in the creative industry. - At 3pm – 4pm renowned photographer Ben Benoliel will be speaking about his wide-ranging career which has included being a founding partner and now Head of Studio and Head of Staff of designer clothing company LN-CC, launching a digital agency and setting up a unique artist’s retreat and holiday accomodation ‘The Artists Pad’ alongside his photography work for internationally respected fashion designer Nigel Cabourn. About The Northern School of Art’s Creative Careers series:
The schedule of talks covers a range of disciplines and they are delivered by industry speakers, creative lecturers and graduates from across the whole creative sector.
These sessions can serve as a useful resource for schools and colleges (or anyone with an interest in creative development and progression). Usually lasting around 45 minutes, they take place on a Wednesday afternoon.
Participants can log in remotely via a Microsoft Teams link, which will be sent to anyone that books a place through Eventbrite.
Our previous speakers have helped to inspire the next generation of creatives, sharing their own creative journey, insights into their practice, demonstrations of their work as well as providing general advice to anyone looking to follow a similar path.
