- What is your home town and which school/college did you join the School from?
My home town is Shildon and I came to the School from New College Durham.
- Why did you choose to study at The Northern School of Art?
I chose to study here because I thought the course sounded really great and was perfect for me. When I had my audition, I really liked the feel of the place and instantly knew this was where I wanted to study.
- What’s your favourite memory of your time at the School (academically as well as socially!)
My favourite memory from my time here would probably be the last night we performed our final major show play ‘Incense and Bleach’ as a class. It was a really bittersweet, but special, time and was quite emotional. I also have lots of fond memories of the friends I have made during my time here.
- What are you doing next and what are your plans/ambitions for the future?
My performances in July at the Durham Fringe Festival in ‘Stole the Show’ with my theatre company Trip Up North were super exciting. In the future I hope to continue acting as much as possible and hopefully become successful in my career.
- Any advice for future students applying for the same course as you?
My advice for future students would be to just enjoy your time at the School and put your all into everything, because it really does pay off. I have thoroughly enjoyed my three years here at The Northern School of Art and feel I have developed massively.
- Where can people find out more about your work?
