Matt OrfordWhat are you talking about: political podcast series
Matt began to form politically weighted podcasts covering the most prevalent topics. Matt felt the most efficient message-wise and aesthetically pleasing artistic tactic was that of abstract collages built from newspapers and articles discussing that particular topic. Abstract collage brings about an aura of the chaotic, this pairs well with the mundanity of the pictures being used and acts as a perfect mirror to the Jekyll and Hyde atmosphere that is modern politics. The website is built around these twin ideals being accompanied by blogs.
Matt’s work is built upon embodying a political catalyst in an increasingly contentious world. The foremost reasoning behind Matt’s work is what he refers to as ‘The Olive Branch of Naivety’. The concept is that a lack of experience begets curiosity, and lacks the arrogance of those educated by their side, thereby filtering out bias and meaning that any pre-held viewpoints are left to the side. This tactic was formed in the hope that due to neither side of the conversation being committed to a particular perspective, any outcome is possible.

Paul SandersonCreative & Digital Skills course e-Learning platform
The creative and digital industries course was designed as a method of fulfilling a Level 1 certificate in interactive media. It was driven by a clear and obvious digital skills gap between those who can afford to access technology and those who cannot. Thus follows the fully funded training route meaning anyone can access it for free. Presuming that a high percentage of people accessing the course will be those out of work, and thus are likely to be young, the course was designed to engage. From the incredibly engaging host of the video content to interactive activities and an online platform, the course works as a standalone online course or as supported with practical activities such as photography and videography. Paul expects, with further development, the course to be launched in multiple versions with the initial course already being launched as a fully funded certificate in level 1 interactive media.
