Open Day FAQs

What should I expect/timings of the day?
The Open Day starts at 10:00 and lasts approximately 4 hours, with a complementary lunch is provided from 12:30 onwards. Please arrive around 10 minutes before your start time to allow for check-in.

You’re welcome to stay for the whole event or leave earlier if you need to. The day is designed to be flexible and relaxed but to get the most out of the experience, we recommend arriving at 10:00 and staying for the length of the event.

You’ll explore our specialist studios, see real student work, meet tutors and current students, and get a feel for what studying here is actually like.

There will be time to ask questions, have informal conversations and look around at your own pace.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. Parents, carers, friends or supporters are very welcome to attend with you.

They’ll also have opportunities to ask questions and learn more about studying at The Northern School of Art.
Is the campus accessible?
Yes. Our Hartlepool HE Campus is accessible, and we’re happy to support any access requirements.

If you have specific needs or would like to discuss access in advance, please get in touch before the Open Day and we’ll do everything we can to make your visit comfortable.
