LISA STONEHOUSE
Lecturer – BA (Hons) Photography
Qualifications:
Twenty years as a photographer, shooting commercial, editorial, and on film sets, Lisa has worked with clients including Rapha, Northern Ballet & The Times, amongst many others. She’s worked on film sets with Gary Oldman in Darkest Hour and Burn Gorman from Batman. She shoots sports reportage and commercial imagery with an emphasis on people. Alongside her professional practice, Lisa lectures on the BA Hons Photography course at the Northern School of Art two days a week, bringing her industry, studio experience and professional connections. She has connected global fashion photographer Nick Knight with final-year students for interviews for their dissertations, and Channel 4 picture commissioners to come in and talk about the industry to students.
