The Northern School of Art is committed to creating strong collaborations, networks and partnerships which will invest in the sustainability of a research culture. Our strategy, which supports The School’s Strategic Plan and Academic Plan 2025-2028, aims to expand and deepen research, scholarly activity and professional development.
Delivering academic excellence and ensuring our currency at the forefront of knowledge is critical. Our staff are our greatest asset, so it’s important we develop individual capabilities across the spectrum of teaching excellence, scholarly activity and research, whether it leads to traditional academic research, innovative new practices or commercial solutions.
