Molly Dixon15 Minutes to Addiction
15 minutes to addiction, is a spring 2023 lingerie collection which questions if fame causes addiction or if fame is the addiction. Fame, can catapult a person in to a place of luxury and wealth, but this success can also bring hunger for continued fame resulting in a downward spiral of depression which can lead to addiction. Delicate lingerie pieces expose the fragility of celebrity lifestyles with intimate garments revealing the luxury and the vulnerability experienced.

Emotional healing 22/23 exhibition, a non-wearable womenswear collection that has been created to spread awareness of the sexual trauma and the healing process through art therapy. The creation of abstract art pieces will evoke feelings and emotions felt from the victims of sexual trauma resulting in an outcome of a fashion collection which presents where possible the healing process.

The collection challenges the viewer to determine whether the garments produced are respecting the heritage of the kimono or is it misappropriation? Why is this? Who has the right to wear one and when is it ever acceptable to use the established form as inspiration?
