The Northern Film Festival is an annual end of year showcase that highlights the talents of our final year degree-level Film Makers and Actors! Presented by our industry partner ARC, Stockton Arts Centre, the festival is a live film event created by Level 6 BA (Hons) Film, TV & Theatre Production students featuring the final year movies of our graduate class.

BA (Hons) Film, TV & Production degree Lecturer Andrew Hutch said this years event "showcases a bold and diverse slate of original films that reflect the voices, risks, and creative identities of a new generation of storytellers. From concept to screen, each project represents intensive development, collaboration, and professional practice." "Audiences can expect an engaging mix of drama, tension, and heartfelt reflection, with films that challenge, entertain, and resonate in equal measure. Across a range of genres and styles, the programme highlights both technical skill and creative ambition, offering a compelling insight into the future of film and television production. This is more than a screening; it’s a celebration of emerging talent and a rare opportunity to experience the next wave of filmmakers as they begin to shape the industry." *find out more about The Northern Film Festival here Age guidance: 15+ (the films contain scenes of violence, strong language and scenes that may be distressing).
