DATE FOR YOUR DIARY // AN EVENING WITH AMBER BUTCHART
We have our first guest lecturer confirmed and it is the super talented Amber Butchart. Amber is a fashion historian and author and specialises in the historical intersections between dress, politics and culture. She has researched and presented documentaries for the BBC, including A Stitch in Time for BBC Four.

THE MIDDLESBROUGH ART WEEKENDER IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
Taking place from the 4th -7th October 2018, The Middlesbrough Art Weekender is are looking for an art collective, studio group or artist-led project space, based in the North, to submit a proposal to run an exhibition, performance or event as part of the Middlesbrough Art Weekender program.

THE BIS – CREATIVE INDUSTRIES MANAGED WORKSPACE – OPENING LATE 2018
Now opening in Late 2018. The former Post Office (GPO) building in Whitby Street is being refurbished and extended to turn it into a centre for business start-ups in the creative industries sector. The centre will offer a range of office and workshop space together with specialist business support. Facilities include: Reception Desk, Telephone System and WI-FI Access, Shower and Changing Facilities, CCTV Security and 2 Meeting Rooms with full presentation facilities.
