Attention all art & design teachers! We are hosting a range of workshop events for teachers looking to develop their Art & Design skills. Join us for three different styles of free masterclasses exploring print & textiles, sketchbook development and photography & digital development. ‘Printed Nature’ – A textile workshop for teachers by Caroline Forknall
for teachers who wish to up-skill and try their hand at some interesting textiles techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring a range of papers and fabrics to print upon. This will diversify the print process. and enhance your final outcome. Fine out more on the eventbrite link below.

Best Practice – “Developing Sketchbooks for Art GCSE” by Caroline Forknall
Learn how to strengthen sketchbook presentation and content for GCSE level. Caroline will take you through her studios, where she will demonstrate the magic formula of compiling a double-page spread of a sketchbook. Guests are encouraged to bring examples of their own current pupils’ work to enhance this session. Find out more on the link below!

Photography (part 1) and Digital Development (part 2) SHORT COURSE for teachers by Jamie Tyreman
This exciting evening short course will be delivered by a professional commercial photographer.
The first part of the course (lasting 3 weeks), delegates will be introduced to digital photography, exploring functions of the DSLR and other photographic kit.
The second part (lasting 3 weeks) will develop on from the skills in part 1 and will look at post-production editing using Photoshop design software to digitally enhance and manipulate images. Delegates will be upskilling in their digital literacy using specialist software commonly used in a taught environment.
