Tickets available for free event featuring Harry Potter, The Tales of Beedle the Bard and Goth Girl illustrator
One of the UK’s leading illustrators is set to appear at a free event organised by The Northern Festival of Illustration.
Former Children’s Laureate Chris Riddell OBE, the Observer’s political cartoonist whose work featured in the original Harry Potter books and who created the
Costa-prize winning Goth Girl series as well as the much-loved Ottoline children’s book series, will be giving a public talk at festival organiser The Northern School of Art’s Lecture Theatre in Hartlepool on Tuesday 2 July at 1.30 – 2.30 pm.
Tickets have been released for the rare opportunity to see a talk by the illustrator who also used his magical illustration talents to illustrate J.K. Rowling’s gloriously inventive fairy tale collection, The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
The event takes place on Tuesday 2 July 2019 from 13:30 – 14:30 in The Northern School of Art Lecture Theatre at Church Square, Hartlepool, TS24 7EX
