Coming to The Northern School of Art‘s Hartlepool campus not only provides students with degree and masters’ level creative education, they also have access to specialist resources, job opportunities and connections to kick-start their creative careers.
Amongst the many benefits available to the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate students is free student membership of Creative UK, the independent network for the creative industries which champions, connects, supports and invests in creative people and businesses.
Membership enables students to connect to a thriving UK-wide network, placing them at the heart of the creative industries. It also provides access to exclusive content including industry news, insights and opportunities to connect and collaborate. Students will be able to attend national and local events and festivals and will be kept in the loop with everything they need to know about the creative industries – from job opportunities to key pieces of research.
The UK creative industries are a vibrant community worth nearly £120Bn and employing around one in every eight workers in the country. It has been the fastest growing sector for more than twenty-five years.
The Northern School of Art is at the heart of this. Back in 2015 the School was one of the first education members of the Creative Federation, a national group of businesses, individuals and educators all working together to support the development of the industry. The Federation has recently joined forces with Creative England to become Creative UK.
