News that CCAD is one of only two UK venues to host a 2016 Phase One Certified Professional training program soon spread and the course sold out soon after it’s announcement on the official Phase One website.

The Phase One Certified Professional (POCP) training program is designed to give working digital techs the training and skills they need to work with the Phase One camera system and Capture One software. CCAD are delighted to offer this opportunity to all BA (Hons) final year photography students to enhance their graduate employment opportunities – the only photography degree in the north to do so.

Approximately 16% of all of the current certified Phase One professionals were trained at CCAD as is no easy task to achieve.You really need to know your stuff. The certification process consists of three steps:

• Qualification via our online Pre-Course
• Attending the official POCP training course (2 days)
• Passing the certification exam (written test)
Before you attend the certification training seminar you must first qualify by completing the 5 sections of our online Pre-Course. This online portion of training covers the basics of digital back technology, camera usage, and Capture One Workflow to ensure that you come to the live training ready to go to the next level.
