Costume design lecturer Ian Bowden’s expertise used in Chris Packham’s BBC Two Inside Our Minds programme
Our BA (Hons) Costume Interpretation with Design degree lecturer Ian Bowden used his expertise to help bring Henry’s ADHD alter ego to life in the insightful BBC Two programme ‘Inside Our ADHD Minds’.
The episode is part of Chris Packham’s Inside Our Minds series where he ‘shines a light on different aspects of our brains, helping neurodivergent people create beautiful films to explain how their minds work.’
Reflecting on his experience Ian said: ‘It was a great opportunity to be asked to take part in the show, heading to London and working within the costume store. It is something I have never done before but allowed me to challenge myself as a costume designer.
“I wasn’t sure when the show would be on, however on the night it aired I got several messages off colleagues saying they had seen me on TV helping Henry! It was great seeing the final show as it was a fun day working with the team.”
