- What is your home town and which school/college did you join the School from?
I’m from Billingham and studied at the Middlesbrough campus of The Northern School of Art before enrolling for the BA (Hons) Fine Art degree course at the Hartlepool campus.
- Why did you choose to study at The Northern School of Art?
I wanted to stay in the North East, and had enjoyed my time at the School’s Middlesbrough campus, so I felt that it would be a great place to continue my studies.
- What’s your favourite memory of your time at the School (academically as well as socially!)
Going to London with the Fine Art degree course – it was great to experience art galleries with everyone from my course, as well as all the memories we made going out on a night.
- What are you doing next and what are your plans/ambitions for the future?
I’m doing a Masters course in Design History at the School’s Hartlepool campus, and I hope to progress further into academic writing about art, or into curatorial work.
- Any advice for future students applying for the same course as you?
Have fun with your art, being in love with what you create is the best way to enjoy doing work.
- Where can people find out more about your work?
