Erin SunderlandErin Sunderland is a talented graphic designer and collage artist who’s passion for female empowerment and music is showcased throughout her analogue and digital design work. In her project ‘Wimpiii Records’, Erin developed a brand which creates a series of 7” vinyl records based off songs by female artists to show off the important and oftentimes overlooked work of women in music; and to support independent record stores which were hit hard during the pandemic.

Brandon StanifordBrandon's artwork focuses on current world events that are affecting society, such as political and environmental issues. He believes that we shouldn’t shy away from these historical times and instead we should be facing them straight on and finding a way to make this world a better place. He has created a community based magazine and website, called the ‘Collective’, to showcase work from other talented designers to create a collage product which has been hand rendered.

Cal HayesCallum is an enthusiastic graphic designer, working with both digital and 3D skill set. Callum specialises in brand, website, video editing, motion graphics and 3D design. In his project ‘One Small Step’ Callum showed a new and modern way of how historical events in space happened by using AR elements.

Courtney WillisCourtney is a versatile graphic designer who enjoys using both digital and analogue methods of working. In her most recent project ‘Together we can’ Courtney investigates how the pandemic has effected the elderly population and has designed different solutions to combat the loneliness felt by many of these elderly people.

Ellie DixonEllie is a flexible graphic designer, working with analogue and digital techniques. Ellie specialises in experimental image-making and creating visual identities. In her project ‘Sport for all’, Ellie considers how social media can be used as a tool to make positive changes towards discrimination and everyday bias in sport.

Elliot TuckElliot creates interesting and fun concepts through varying visual experimentation. Proficient in identity design and typography, he develops unique atmospheres through combinations of bold visual elements within his work. LOCKEDCAPS is a brand/organisation designed with an engaging nature-based aesthetic. Built to streamline understanding of the climate crisis and effectively distribute information through modern media platforms.

Emily GibsonEmily is a graphic designer and illustrator who carries out lots of digital illustration and typography work. She likes to educate people on issues that are happening right now and in her Final Major Project she raised awareness for the climate change crisis and produced a book to educate children.

Emma WilkinsonEmma Wilkinson is an accomplished graphic designer that works with both digital and analogue perspectives. Emma specialises in branding and type and is an efficient designer. In her project ‘Help GiffGaff give back’ Emma considers how much people can miss out by not being able to have internet or be able to use it. She also considers how a community of people can help the problem highlighted in her project.

Gen LloydGen is a graphic designer, working with both digital and analogue processes. Her final project is called ‘Arise’, which is a sustainable coffee subscription box. To ensure the brief was met, research and branding was done to make sure it appeals to the target audience and that all materials are suitable for this.

Hannah EmmersonHannah Emmerson is an innovative graphic designer, who works mainly using digital techniques. She has specialised in editorial and typographic design. For the concept of the project, Hannah has created, ‘Real Normal’ which raises awareness about how people’s body types should not impact the way they are seen in society.

Haydn LandisHaydn Landis White curates and designs a large selection of works that question the mundane and everyday life. With an eye for collage and photojournalism he combines these mediums in a hope to understand and open up conversaion on class, localism, and peit bougeouise England.

Jem SolleyJem Solley is an award-winning graphic designer specialising in editorial design and risography. In her project, ‘Beauty of Activism’ Jem explores topics of social media desensitisation and the art of protest in today’s world. Creating a limited run of 500-page hand risographed publications alongside a successful open collab and website.

Jordan ForresterJordan Forrester is a designer that focuses on typography, accessibility and awareness. This has never been more evident within his work than in the SENS typographic campaign project wherein the focus on producing awareness for the visually impaired is the priority. Developing a voice for disadvantaged individuals is the goal.

Logan CraggsLogan Craggs is an aspiring editor within the field of graphic design working with primarily digital formats. Within his project “Lights, Camera, Action.” Logan took his first steps into professional book design and production in the pursuit of exploring the past of the entertainment industry and the impact of new techniques and technologies.

Lucy BrownLucy is a highly versatile graphic designer who specialises in branding and visual identity. Lucy has a real passion for building strong brand identities that deliver important messages. She is a down to earth, diligent, passionate and hard-working graphic designer who never gives up. In her project ‘Good Day’ Lucy explores the relationship between mental health and social media.

Lucy WaytLucy Wayt is a skilled illustrator, working with mainly digital methods but can also work well with analogue techniques. Lucy is graduating with a BA (Hons) Graphic Design qualification and has a huge passion for illustration and design. Her main interest is using current events alongside nostalgia and pop culture references throughout her work and thoroughly believes art can be a form of peaceful protest.

Mia AngioyMia Angioy is a multifaceted designer specialising in both analogue and digital techniques. For her FMP she created promotional material for singer songwriter Megan Dotchin, exploring many experimental processes before arriving at her final piece. She is particularly interested in designing for music and using her creativity to promote wellness.

Nathan WilsonNathan is a critical designer that tries finding new and alternative ways when working in the field of graphic design. Although Photoshop is Nathan’s specialty, he has worked on illustration, animation, video editing, photography and coding all throughout the three years of University. When starting a project Nathan always find ways to develop his skill and in Nathans FMP he was able to build a website and design clothing without previous knowledge of coding, dying or screen printing. Which formed the clothes bandit project which renews old charity clothing.

Owen ScottOwen is an adaptable graphic designer who uses multi-medias to produce his outcomes. His specialities however are more towards working in image-making and print-making. In this project, 'Showdown', Owen has considered how male mental health isn’t a social topic and developed a means for people to start having this discussion.

Rebecca JonesRebecca Jones is a detail oriented graphic designer, with a specific passion for creating bold and unique brands, that have a highly illustrative feel. Rebecca’s portfolio demonstrates her passion for creating positive social changes. In her project “Echo_Protesting” Rebecca considers how social platforms can make protesting more accessible and inclusive.

Ronja JartelaPlus Three Five Eight is a brand created by Ronja, and this Spring 2022 collection is inspired by current events, culture, and climate. All designs are illustrated, designed, and hand-printed by Ronja. Current fashion trends, media, and TV influenced the theme for the drop, along with music and all things creative.

Shannon StarlingShannon is a graphic designer with a passion for working mainly digitally to create a brand identity. Shannon specialises in logo design, advertising, prints and social media. In her project ‘Sustain’ she considers how an issue can be introduced into a brand to build awareness through a successful response.

Sophie WhitworthDuring Sophie’s undergraduate study, she has developed a comprehensive portfolio of work that showcases her variety of specialisms including typography, brand identity and campaign design. In her final major project, Sophie considers how through a Freshers Pack she can lessen the chance that starting university may have a detrimental effect on new students’ mental health.

Toby PearceToby Pearce is a graphic artist and designer hailing from the North East of England. His style breaks the mould of traditional design and changes how art relates to the world around it. By using digital techniques Toby creates influential designs that challenge the ways in which artwork is created and perceived.
