Lee RobinsonA sculptural Figure of a Gothic Knight on His Throne
Lee Robinson is a 23-year-old model maker who was born and lives in Hartlepool. He is passionate about creating sculptures of characters and creatures from movies, tv series and video games as well as his own custom designs. He has experience with digital model making however his preferred method is to work with physical media from air dry clays, foam, card, wood and more. He has studied Computer Games Art at Teesside University, Design for the Creative Industries at Hartlepool College of Further Education and Visual Effects and Model Making at The Northern School of Art and has experience working with businesses designing leaflets and merchandise designs. Lee has always enjoyed drawing but didn’t find it as exciting as working with physical tools to create a 3D piece exploring and testing new materials for durability and how good they are to work with. The inspiration behind his design ‘Interitus’ was movies such as The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies and Lee wanted to capture that look of the gothic fantasy style in his ultimate creation.

Holly HeslopA Werewolf Called Rowley
Rowley started off with concept art created by a character design friend who produced a character and a piece of concept art. Rowley started as a were wolf type creature but progressed onwards with research into anatomy and how the muscle structure of a wolf worked but as it progressed it became more obvious I was taking artistic liberations on the work while communicating with the original designer.
