Foundation Illustration Alumni, Lizzy Drennan, has been making waves right across the country with her incredible sketches. With a waiting list packed up right until Christmas, Lizzy’s commission drawings are a hit with all her customers and followers on Facebook. After starting up a Facebook page, EGD Art, a few months ago, it has racked up almost 300 likes with many people sharing Lizzy’s drawings and commissions daily.

Speaking highly of the foundation course, Lizzy said, “I’ve got to give a lot of credit to Andy Edwards, my tutor. He taught me the accuracy and precision, choosing the best materials, managing and allocating my time to certain pieces, having a professional finish, even little things like keeping the paper white and measuring everything perfectly. He drummed the creative process into me”.

Every now and again Lizzy gets a really special customer; here is an illustration of world record holder and multi Olympic Gold Medal horse, Valegro. The majority of her work is animals and pets yet she’s extremely gifted in all areas of illustration.
