MAKE IT THROUGH THE NIGHT 2016
Students have made it through the night for the second year in a row as CCAD once again participated in a 24 hour design challenge in London.
The ‘Make it through the night’ project sees UKADIA (UK Art & design Institutions Association) members nominate around 40 higher education students from around the country to collaborate and explore the themes and produce works through a wide range of materials and media, which is supported by tutors and creative professionals throughout the night.
The project encouraged students and staff to document their progress on twitter and instagram, and the event can be followed at #MITTN. A storify board of public content is available below.
CCAD students who participated are expected to sleep all weekend after setting off at lunchtime Thursday 14th April and are expected back via train on the afternoon of Friday 15th April having not slept at all during their #mittn time, which was this year hosted by Rose Bruford College, London. CCAD had by far the furthest to travel for the event. Well done to those who participated!
