The title ‘Still I Rise’ is taken from the poem of the same name by Maya Angelou – ‘Just like moons and like suns, with the certainty of tides, just like hopes springing high, still I rise.’

The show comprised work from students specialisms of photography, sculpture, moving image, painting, print making and installation, and reflected fifteen individual points of view and areas of research such as social and cultural history, feminism, subjectivity and psychoanalytical art.
