Textiles graduate Amelia Paveley shortlisted of New Designers Wilko Retail Design Award
Every year the best of our Textiles degree students showcase their work at the prestigious New Designers event with many students coming away with new job opportunities, new commisions or awards.
This year, 2020 Textiles graduate Amelia Paveley has been shortlisted of the New Designers Wilko Retail Design Award!
Amelia’s brief was to design a collection of textiles, surface patterns for products or prints that capture a current trend and has been translated into a design with universal appeal.
The most commercial Surface pattern and print Design in response to the brief may get, the IP for there work purchased for £600, get an opportunity to work alongside the Design team to bring the Surface pattern and print Design to market and also a 2 week virtual work experience placement with the design team.
At The Northern School of Art we are sending luck to Amelia and hoping she takes the top designer spot!
