Textiles and Surface Design Student featured on Tatty Devine!
One of our fantastic students has been one of the artists featured within Tatty Devine’s new series of interviews with female creatives! Adele chatted about her inspirations for her Final Major Project and time at trade shows in New York and Paris. She was also set the challenge of reimagining a piece of their jewellery in Adele’s own signature style.
Adele said, “I decided to design my ‘dream necklace’ and loved creating it! I reimagined the shape and design of the Paint by Numbers Statement Necklace as I love anything that involves a cat and used a mix of emulsions and acrylic paint to reflect the opaqueness of certain acrylic and perspex used in Tatty Devine jewellery. I imagined styling this necklace teamed with monochrome stripes, vintage denim and chunky heels.”
Huge, huge well done to Adele and make sure to check out the piece and also Adele’s new ‘Tatty design’ here! >>>> www.tattydevine.com/blog/2017/02/meet-adele/
