Wax Presents: Antony Chambers and Jason Hynes
Photography lecturer Antony Chambers and photographer Jason Hynes are showcasing a selection of their work at new space, WAX on Baker’s Street in Middlesbrough from 22nd December.
The exhibition will present Antony’s work in progress as part of his project for his Master’s degree. The project is born from Antony’s scepticism of capitalism and the urbanisation of the landscape – in particular, car parks.
“I’m shooting night time landscapes using a large format camera and black and white film. It’s a slow process and I enjoy the physicality of film and making prints in the darkroom. I’m going to show two prints.” Antony is collaborating on this exhibition with his good friend and photographer Jason Hynes.
The venue, WAX, is an artist run space and are interested in both working with other artists to show work, run workshops, networking events and collaborating with the wider community.
