Alison Lyons
We always love to hear from alumni and it was a great start to 2016 to hear from Alison Lyons, who graduated in 2011.
Alison checked in with us to let us know that since obtaining her degree in 2011, she has since gone on to build a career in costume for film and television. Alison provided us with some of her highlights, which have included:
- 20th Century Fox UKs ‘Exodus: Gods and Kings’ – which starred Christian Bale and was director by fellow CCAD alumnus Sir Ridley Scott
- BBC One’s The Paradise, which was syndicated to the USA
- Company Pictures’ ‘Wolf Hall’ which chronicled the rise of Thomas Cromwell starring Damian Lewis (Homelands) shown on BBC 2
- Hartswood Films’ adaptation of ‘Lady Chatterley’s Lover’ shown on BBC One
Alison’s recent credits include ‘Sherlock: The Abominable Bride’ written by Mark Gatiss, starring Benedict Cumberbatch , ‘Free Fire’ featuring Cillian Murphy and ‘SS-GB’ a new BBC thriller about an imagined Nazi takeover of the UK.
