Students showcasing commercials at Nahemi Kodak Awards
This evening a selection of the BA (Hons) Film, TV & Theatre Production students are heading to the Nahemi Kodak Awards at the Regent Street Cinema in London. The Awards are showcasing 30 second adverts shot on 16mm film created by students from all over the country; this event is one of the most prestigious student events in the film industry in the U.K. There has been 48 commercials entered into the competition from colleges and universities from all over the country and each one will be given screen time on the evening. Following this there will be a selection of awards presented including awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best of the evening.
On the judging panel this year is an array of industry experts from the film industry who are selecting the best commercials of the night. Our student’s will have to impress Charlie Inman (Mother London), Mark Brandis (Libertine), Professor Suzie Hanna (Chair of NAHEMI), Susannah Hayes (commercials director), Danny Edwards (Editor, Shots), Sam Clark (Kodak), John Wood (Libertine) and Pete Souter (TWBALondon).
